The infrared light is the key light radiation that causes your eyes problems, such as heat, fatigue, and eye strain. IR light can penetrate through almost all of the sunglasses or polarized sunglasses in the market. It needs a special process with the lens coating to enable the sunglasses to have the ability to block the infrared.

• Pupil dilation: 
  • The darkening effect of regular sunglasses causes your pupils to dilate, which allows more IR radiation to enter the eye, increasing the potential for harm.
• Long-term effects: 
  • Prolonged exposure to high levels of IR radiation can lead to eye conditions like clouding of the lens (cataract).
